December 21ST, 2020 I gave birth to a micro preemie at 25 weeks gestation, due to Covid and pregnancy complications. The fear of losing my baby crept in and I felt as though my entire world had come to a halt. A tiny baby weighing one and half pounds was barely clinging to life, I had two older daughters that still needed care and attention, and our jobs were in jeopardy.

Our lives as we knew it had come to a stop, as we spent one hundred days in the NICU with our daughter, whom we named Julia Grace. My baby went through so much and it was an extremely difficult process for all of us. Julia was revived on several occasions, had several blood transfusions, got severe chemical burns, had heart  & Lung issues due to her severe prematurity, she even had to undergo surgery.

But one bible verse stuck with me, and I repeated it in my head over and over again - “If you have faith like a mustard seed you can say to this mountain, move from here to there, and it will move” Matthew 17:20

Our story is a reminder to praise him in the storm! Each day was not easy but we continued to praise, pray and believe in his promises.

​

After one hundred days in the  NICU  my baby came home. We had many sleepless nights with the monitor alarms going on and off all night long. Julia Grace had doctors’ appointments every day and to make matters more difficult, my job was not able to wait for my situation to get better. I had no other choice than to give it up.​

​

Today, Julia Grace is a striving baby who, along with her two beautiful sisters, bring so much joy to our lives. 

Although I worked for many years in the health industry, my heart would always lead me to my dream store.

​​

The same God that gave life to my micro-preemie also gave life to my lifelong dream of having my own children's store. He didnt forget about me! He never abandoned me or any of my lifelong dreams. Things do not always happen when we want them to-or how, but trust me when I say it is in his time, and his timing is always perfect.

​

My three girls are my motivation and inspiration. Looking back, I always took pride in the way I dressed my two older girls- Makayla & Ariana. My girls dressed comfortably, but always cute! I made sure they felt good about themselves. Today, they help me choose the best items to sell in our shop for beautiful children everywhere.
